Description
Achieve flawless, damage-free demolding on every cast with this professional-grade Epoxy & Resin Mold Release Spray. Its advanced silicone-based formula deposits an ultra-thin, invisible barrier between mold and casting material — eliminating adhesion, surface tearing, and residue transfer while preserving the finest surface detail across dozens of consecutive pours. The result is a cleaner finish, a longer mold lifespan, and zero compromise on part quality.
Formulated for the full spectrum of mold substrates — silicone, polyurethane, fiberglass, metal, and rigid plastics — this release spray performs consistently whether you are casting jewelry, electronic enclosures, architectural elements, or precision prototype components. The low-migration, non-staining composition ensures released parts emerge clean and ready for immediate sanding, painting, coating, or assembly without additional surface prep.
Efficiency is built into every application. A single light, even coat is sufficient; the fast-evaporating carrier leaves behind a dry, uniform release film within minutes, eliminating wait time and keeping your workflow moving. From boutique studio runs to light production schedules, this spray transforms a critical process step into a quick, repeatable, and fully confident routine.
Key features
Advanced Silicone-Based Barrier
Deposits an ultra-thin, invisible film that fully separates casting material from mold surface, preventing adhesion and surface tearing without altering mold geometry or part dimensions.
Universal Mold Compatibility
Safe and effective on silicone, polyurethane, fiberglass, aluminum, steel, and rigid plastic molds — one can handles your entire workshop without the need for substrate-specific products.
Fast-Evaporating, Dry-Touch Finish
The carrier solvent evaporates rapidly, leaving a dry, tack-free release layer within minutes so you can proceed to pouring without extended dwell times or surface contamination risk.
Non-Staining & Low-Migration Formula
Engineered to stay at the mold interface rather than migrating into the casting, ensuring released parts are clean, paint-ready, and free from oily residue or discolouration.
Extended Mold Longevity
Consistent use dramatically reduces mechanical stress on mold surfaces during demolding, protecting fine detail features and extending the usable life of your investment molds.
Single-Coat Efficiency
One light, even application provides full-surface coverage for most castings, reducing product consumption and keeping per-unit costs low in production environments.
Precision Aerosol Delivery
The fine-mist nozzle provides controlled, uniform spray coverage across complex geometries, undercuts, and deep cavities — eliminating pooling and uneven release agent buildup.
Perfect for
Casting resin jewelry and decorative pieces in silicone molds requiring pristine, detail-perfect surface reproduction.Producing custom electronic enclosures, potting housings, and PCB covers from polyurethane or epoxy in rigid molds.Fabricating architectural panels, decorative concrete elements, and GRC components using fiberglass or polyurethane forms.Creating rapid prototypes and functional parts from epoxy or casting resin in CNC-machined aluminum or rigid plastic tooling.Small-batch production of art objects, figurines, and collectibles where consistent surface quality across multiple pours is essential.Preparing complex multi-part molds with deep undercuts where reliable, damage-free release is critical to mold preservation.
How to use
- 11. Prepare the mold surface by ensuring it is completely clean, dry, and free of dust, previous casting residue, or contaminants. Wipe with a lint-free cloth if needed.
- 22. Shake the canister vigorously for 15–20 seconds before use to ensure the formula is fully homogenised and ready to spray.
- 33. Hold the can upright at a distance of approximately 20–30 cm (8–12 inches) from the mold surface for optimal atomisation and coverage.
- 44. Apply a single, light, sweeping coat across the entire mold cavity and all internal surfaces, including undercuts and fine detail areas. Avoid heavy or pooling application.
- 55. Allow the release agent to dry fully for 2–5 minutes until the surface has a dry, uniform, non-tacky appearance before introducing casting material.
- 66. Pour or inject your epoxy, resin, or casting compound as per your standard process. For deep or complex molds, a second thin application may be applied after the first has dried.
- 77. Once your casting has cured, demold carefully using standard release techniques. The part should release cleanly with minimal force.
- 88. After demolding, inspect the mold surface. Reapply a fresh coat of release spray before each subsequent pour to maintain consistent performance.
Care & warranty
- •Store the canister in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, open flames, and heat sources above 50 °C — the contents are pressurised and flammable.
- •Always use in a well-ventilated workspace or outdoors; avoid prolonged inhalation of spray mist. A respirator mask rated for organic vapours is recommended for extended use sessions.
- •Keep away from eyes and skin during application; wear safety glasses and nitrile gloves. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with clean water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice.
- •Do not puncture, incinerate, or attempt to refill the canister. Dispose of empty cans in accordance with local aerosol waste regulations.
- •Keep out of reach of children. Store upright and cap securely when not in use to preserve spray nozzle integrity and prevent accidental discharge.
Warranty: This product is warranted against manufacturing defects under normal use and storage conditions for a period of 24 months from the date of manufacture as printed on the canister. Claims arising from misuse, improper storage, or damage in transit are excluded from this warranty.
